I am a PhD student at the college of computing since Aug 2005.
I got my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from NITK (National Institute of Technology, Karnataka which was formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) or REC, Suratkal). During my final year (senior year) at NITK I worked for Synopsys R&D labs on compilers for EDA (Electronic Design & Automation) in Electronics department in the campus. After my undergraduation I worked for Yahoo! for the search & market team and then for Microsoft in the windows product division before deciding to pursue a PhD.
